A Fresh Start: Wyoming Players in the Transfer Portal

Let's face it: the 105-roster mandate for 2025 will leave Wyoming with too many players when factoring in the planned 30 signees (approximately) that head coach Jay Sawvel wants to add by next year. There are going to be players who are looking to move on to greener pastures, and there are some who might be told they won't have a scholarship next year. Below is a comprehensive list of Pokes who have entered their name into the transfer portal.

Jaden was from the 2021 signing class from Inglewood, California. During his career at Wyoming, he played in 10 total games, gaining nine tackles, seven assists, two tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.

He had 5.6 yards per attempt, two touchdowns and 19.1 yards per game. McNeely missed the 2023 season due to an injury sustained during fall camp before the season. Dawaiian was out for most of the 2024 season due to a knee injury.
