PokesNews.com Welcomes Christian Lasher to the Team

I'm excited to announce the newest addition to PokesNews.com – Christian Lasher. Christian comes to us with an extensive background in sports broadcasting and a true love for the University of Wyoming.. As a creative assistant and columnist, he will be an asset in providing in-depth coverage of University of Wyoming athletics.

Christian is a proud graduate of the University of Wyoming, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with an emphasis in broadcasting, graduating in '95. After earning his degree, Lasher became a sports anchor at KGWN TV in Cheyenne, where he covered all sports, including the Pokes, with in-depth analysis from '95 to '99. Lasher also worked as a sports anchor at KTVZ from ’99 to ’01.

Lasher devotes much of his time to serving as the secretary of the UW Alumni Association Board of Directors. He also works in the real estate industry in Northern Colorado.
