University of Wyoming Hosts NFL Pro Day Tuesday

LARAMIE, Wyo. (March 17, 2024) - The University of Wyoming Football program is set to host its annual NFL Pro Day on Tuesday, March 19, at the Indoor Practice Facility in Wyoming. This event serves as a crucial platform for draft-eligible Cowboys to showcase their skills to NFL scouts and representatives.


Draft hopefuls from the University of Wyoming scheduled to participate in the Pro Day include:


1. Ayir Asante - Wide Receiver

2. Frank Crum - Offensive Tackle

3. Ralph Fawaz - Punter

4. Easton Gibbs - Linebacker

5. Cole Godbout - Defensive Tackle

6. Jakorey Hawkins - Cornerback

7. Deron Harrell - Cornerback

8. Colin O'Brien - Tight End

9. Andrew Peasley - Quarterback

10. Clayton Stewart - Punter

11. Treyton Welch - Tight End


Gibbs and Crum participated in the NFL Combine 2 weeks ago.


The testing regimen will encompass a variety of drills and measurements, including the 225 bench press, vertical jump, 40-yard dash, broad jump, 3-cone test, 20-yard shuttle, 60-yard shuttle, and specific position drills tailored to each player's role on the field.


Following the testing phase, players may have the opportunity for individual meetings with NFL team representatives present at the event, providing a chance for further evaluation and interaction.


The Pro Day testing at the Indoor Practice Facility will be open to the public, with a designated viewing area set up for fans and family members. Attendees are kindly requested to remain behind the designated fence during the testing to ensure a distraction-free environment for both the players and the scouts.


Parking for the event is available in the Stadium Lot, located east of War Memorial Stadium and south of the Indoor Practice Facility, with no parking pass required for attendees.


The 2024 NFL Draft is scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, April 25-27 in Detroit, Michigan.

The Pro Day stands as a important moment for these former University of Wyoming players as they seek to impress and secure their place in professional football.
