LARAMIE, Wyo. (May 30, 2024) – The Mountain West Conference and its television partners, CBS Sports Networks and FOX Sports Networks, announced the 2024 Mountain West football television schedule on Thursday. The Wyoming Cowboys will be televised on national TV eight times, with four other contests on the schedule to be announced later. Highlighting the schedule will be a night contest against BYU on Sept. 14, along with three other primetime games on CBS Sports Network.
Home Schedule Featured on CBS Sports Network
The Pokes will play five of the six home games on CBS Sports Network. The game against BYU will be under the lights at 7 p.m., followed by a contest against Air Force on Sept. 28 at 6 p.m., which will be Wyoming’s Homecoming contest.
The Cowboys will play a Saturday afternoon game against San Diego State at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 12. Wyoming will then close out the home portion of the schedule with a pair of 5 p.m. contests against Utah State (Oct. 26) and Boise State (Nov. 23).
Game time and television selection for the Idaho contest on Sept. 7 will be announced in the coming weeks.
Road Slate Times
The Cowboys will kick off the season at Arizona State on Aug. 31, with kickoff set for 8:30 p.m. on FS1. The contest against North Texas will be announced at a later date.
Game times and television assignments for Wyoming’s road contests at San Jose State (Oct. 19) and New Mexico (Nov. 2) will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Pokes' contest at Colorado State for the annual Border War was moved to Friday, Nov. 15, and will kick off at 6 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. The Pokes will close the season with a trip to Washington State on Nov. 30 in a 4:30 p.m. contest on The CW.
MW Championship Game
For the fifth consecutive year, the 2024 Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship game will be nationally televised on FOX. It is scheduled to kick off Friday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT/3 p.m. HT.
